This two-day (2.5hrs x 2 sessions) online continuing veterinary education (CVE) event explores the interconnected impacts of war, environmental collapse, and human and animal health and welfare through the One Health lens. It aims to broaden the understanding of veterinarians regarding how human, animal, and environmental health systems interact in crisis conditions, using Palestine as a contemporary case study.

Participants will gain insight into:
1. The destruction of agricultural and veterinary infrastructure and its implications for food security and public health.
2. The lived experience of veterinarians operating under siege conditions and the ethical dimensions of veterinary practice in humanitarian crises.
3. The long-term environmental and toxicological effects of modern warfare on animals, ecosystems, and human health.
4. The professional and moral responsibilities of veterinarians within global One Health networks.
Learning Outcomes
1. Articulate the relevance of One Health principles in conflict and humanitarian disaster settings.
