Webinar: Summer Scour Syndrome in Dairy Calves - Diagnosis and Management

This webinar will explore the common causes of diarrhoea in dairy calves at grass, including parasitic gastroenteritis, coccidiosis, ruminal acidosis, copper deficiency, thiomolybdate toxicity. However, the webinar will primarily focus on a very significant cause of diarrhoea in grazing dairy calves called Summer Scour Syndrome. Summer Scour Syndrome has been a cause of high levels of mortality in grazing dairy calves in the last 5 to 10 years and can be very challenging to manage. The underlying pathophysiology and epidemiology of this disease will be explored in this webinar, together with recommendations for diagnosis, treatment of affected cases and prevention.
