Webinar: Making the cut: Practical Decision - Marking for Mammary Tumours and Soft tissue sarcomas

This talk focuses on the surgical management of two commonly encountered tumour types in small animal practice: mammary tumours and soft tissue sarcomas. Through case-based discussion, the course will address common clinical decision points, including appropriate diagnostic sampling, surgical planning, and peri-operativeconsiderations. Particular emphasis will be placed on choosing between fine needle aspiration and biopsy, selecting the most appropriate surgical approach, and understanding how surgical decisions impact prognosis and long-term disease control. The aim is to provide practical, evidence-based guidance to support confident decision-making in first-opinion and referral settings.
