Pablo E. Otero is a professor of Anaesthesiology and head of the Anaesthesia and Analgesia Department at the Faculty of Veterinary Science of the University of Buenos Aires. He received his DVM and PhD in Veterinary Science from University of Buenos Aires and an additional PhD in Anaesthesiology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. He is a certificated Veterinary Professor in Higher Education from the University of Buenos Aires. He is currently the President of the Argentinian Association of Anaesthesia and Analgesia (AAAVRA) and he is the former president of the Latin American Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (LAVECCS). He has contributed to the growth of his area through the publication of numerous original peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and 4 Anaesthesia and Pain Management textbooks.
