This combined lecture/ practical session is a refresher for both small animal practitioners and nurses. It will discuss the common non-invasive monitors, allowing attendees to optimise their anaesthetic monitoring equipment. Following on from the morning lectures, the afternoon practical session will include 'problem case' discussions and a brief CPR update.

You will cover:

  • Monioring the patient, reocrd keeping 
  • Temperture and the importance befire, during and adter surgery 
  • Capnography 
  • Blood pressure
  • ECG
  • Oxygen supplemnetation 
  • Hydration of payient and its importance 
  • Practicals - case studies and hands on!
