Advanced Nutrition for Veterinary Nurses

Nutritional management is an important part of the treatment of a variety of diseases, obesity being the most common, and it is also essential in hospitalized patients, where adequate nutritional provision can improve the prognosis in our patients. During this case based session, we will work on different scenarios for both weight management/weight loss plans and nutritional support of hospitalized patients, for participants to choose different diet options, calculate daily allowances, and adjust recommendations according to follow up.
