"I really enjoyed the course, both Nora and Ingrid were very engaging speakers and the opportunity to practice extraction techniques on cadavers was great. They also managed to tailor the course to all levels as there was a mix of abilities on the course. The course is well organised and all the staff are very professional. I feel very fortunate to have this high level of CPD available in Ireland."

Webinar - What lurks beneath the gumline

O no! I heard the dreaded noise….

Extraction complications are common and not nice. Signs of root fragment complications: haemorrhage, swelling, pain, jaw fracture, penetration of instruments into the mandibular canal or eye or nasal cavity and root fragments. Root fragments are one of the most common complications I see in referral practice. In this webinar we discuss what we can do to avoid fragments and if they happen, how we treat them. We will discuss different approaches of root fragment retrieval and their pros and cons.
